It was day one for Pt England students to start back at school on the 7th of February 2011. As I strolled through the school gates, I was stoked to see the new classrooms that had been built for the year 7 and 8 students to learn in.
The new part of the building known as the street was flooded with children and teachers. Beside me I could feel the breeze whispering in my ear. Not knowing what class I was in, made me more excited.
‘About time’ I said to myself. Finally, I found out who my teacher was. I was happy to hear that I was in Ms Tito’s Class again. After Mrs Nua’s announcement, I Raced to my new classroom and explored it feeling ecstatic.
I glanced around at my new classmates said to myself, ”This is going to be a great year.” I’m looking forward for what this year has to offer me .
Kiaora My name is Ngaina i’m 11 years of age and i’m a year 8 student at Pt England School. I live in Glen Innes which is located in Auckland New zealand . My favourite subject at school is writing also i like learning te reo Maori.There are so many new things arriving at our school like our netbooks,new students and also new classrooms. Im passionate about school so i’m happy for whatever this year has to offer me.
